Join the Friends of the Alice Studt Library in Braham for the senior social. This activity features speakers on all sorts of topics of interest. This group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm in the library. Everyone is welcome. Treats are provided. The next meeting will be on December 13, 2017. Donations requested! Listen to the relaxing Christmas music of Marie and Mary.
Thank you for supporting our monthly breakfasts! Join your friends and neighbors for breakfast on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, french toast will be served from 7:00-11:00 am.
Join your friends and neighbors for bingo at the Braham Event Center. Bingo is held each Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 pm. $1000 cover all. A delicious lunch is served each evening.
The Braham Area Food Shelf is open each Thursday 8:00-noon. It is located on the South side of the event center.
The Alice Studt Library is located on the North entry to the event center. The library is a link site with the East Central Minnesota Regional Library system. The site is open on Mondays from 12:30-4:30 pm. In addition, the library is open on Thursday from 8:00-noon. Wi-fi is available in the library as well as computer workstations. You may print out documents at the rate of $.25 per page. The library also hosts these unique events:
- Friends of the library meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 3:30 pm. Anyone can join this group and help to plan events for the library. The next meeting will be held on September 5, 2017.
- Films are presented at the center. Please join us.
- Senior Social Hour is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm. Join us for coffee, treats, great discussion, and a unique presenter each month. Join us on December 13 and listen to relaxing Christmas music by Marie and Mary.
- Book Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 1:30 pm. Join us for coffee, great discussions, interesting books, good fellowship. Next meeting: December 18, 2017.
This course provides the initial food manager certification requirements of the State of Minnesota. Course includes testing for the ServSafe certificate. The course will be offered at Pine Technical College.
