Saturday, June 12th was Braham's Appreciation Day. In spite of the rainy afternoon, we enjoyed a parade, food, and time together!
Thanks to teacher Carmen Vanderport Johnson and her students, the new Community Center was well represented with this fantastic float in the parade!
With the help of our local radio station KBEK 95.5 FM, Dave invited to the stage many from our community to share their participation and excitement as we build this center together.
The overall project cost to build the Braham Area Community Center is $1,742,030. To date, we have already raised about $900,000, leaving a GOAL OF $842,030! Alice, shown in this photo, is giving "The Challenge" to all to help raise these needed dollars.
