This long-awaited historic day in Braham's history brought community and project leaders, residents and the hard-working volunteers out on a very chilly day in May to celebrate the Groundbreaking of the Braham Area Community Center.
Tusen Tack, Braham’s Premier Thrift Store, and the Braham Area Community Center Task Force Committee, would like to announce groundbreaking for the Braham Area Community Center this spring with opening this fall.A large crowd gathers for the signing of the final legal documents to start construction this spring on the Braham Area Community Center. On March 21 Tusen Tack volunteers met with representatives of the city of Braham, Lakes and Pines, Initiative Foundation and Unity Bank for signing of the final legal documents necessary for starting construction.
The committee would like to thank everyone who has given a donation and/or has volunteered time for funding raising events.
Donations and fund raising events are still greatly needed to continue to fund this project. Two local Braham residents have given large donations and let’s continue to match these donations.
When you make donations and shop at Braham's Tusen Tack thrift store, you help many charitable organizations including financial support to help build the Braham Area Community Center.
Thanks to all who donate! Thanks to all who shop! Thanks to all the volunteers who make this happen!
